since her youth, her main focus has always been on the human figure. dehlani is currently working on a series ‘more fats, more femmes” that highlights and celebrates an array of different queer and trans bodies. the project is meant to show that there is such unique, profound, beauty in human variation and that every queer body is art, deserving of love and appreciation. this series was first started at the beginning of her transition and will continue to grow as she furthers her journey. a love letter to the queers, if you will.
